About Us:
- Beteseb Charity Association dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities
through financial inclusion, livelihood improvement and social development. We
are seeking a committed and energetic VSLA full time Facilitator
from the internal staff to support the establishment and strengthening of
Village Savings and Loan Associations in Sidama region.
Key Responsibilities
·
Mobilize and organize community members to form
VSLAs.
·
Facilitate regular VSLA meetings, trainings, and
capacity-building sessions.
·
Provide technical guidance on group management,
record keeping, and financial literacy.
·
Support groups in adopting income-generating
activities.
·
Monitor progress of VSLAs and prepare timely
reports.
·
Strengthen linkages between VSLAs and financial
institutions where possible.
·
Promote gender inclusion and participation of
vulnerable groups.
Education
·
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Community
Development, Cooperative Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
Qualifications
·
Previous experience working with VSLAs, SHGs
(Self-Help Groups), cooperatives, or microfinance projects. Minimum of 4 years
diploma holder and 2 years for Bachelor's
Required Skills
·
Strong facilitation, training, and mobilization
skills.
·
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
·
Ability to ride a motorbike and willingness to
travel to rural/remote areas.
·
Fluency and working knowledge of English and
Amharic.
·
Ability to use basic computer applications
·
Able to work with under pressure
·
Able to have Honesty, commitment and
confidentiality
