About BCA:
Beteseb Charity Association is a non-profit
organization established in 2012 to support orphaned and highly vulnerable
children, women, and youth. With a decade of community-based service, Beteseb
delivers programs in child protection, education, psychosocial support,
vocational training, and women's empowerment. We are currently seeking a
qualified and motivated individual to join our team as Finance and
Administration Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage
day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, budgeting, and
financial reporting
- Prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Ensure
compliance with financial policies, donor requirements, and relevant laws
- Oversee
procurement processes, asset management, and logistics
- Manage
payroll, tax filings, and statutory deductions
- Maintain
accurate records of expenditures and support external audits
- Ensure
proper documentation and filing systems for financial and administrative
records
- Handle
recruitment processes including job posting, shortlisting, and onboarding
- Maintain
and update personnel files and HR records
- Support
performance management and staff evaluation processes
- Coordinate
staff training, development, and capacity-building activities
- Ensure
compliance with labor laws and HR policies
- Promote
a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Manage
employee leave, benefits, and disciplinary procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum
of 10 years relevant experience in finance, administration, and human
resource management
- Proficiency
in accounting software (Peachtree), Microsoft Office and Digital tools
- Strong
knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HR best practices
- Excellent
organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High
level of integrity and attention to detail
- Proficiency
in English Language
- Willing
to take extra commitment (Extra Hour and Holidays)
